About

Umberto Gaudino is a London-based Italian composer for film, television, advertising, and theatre, currently based in London.

His work bridges cinematic storytelling and luxury branding, combining classical training with a decade of experience in the international fashion industry.

Trained as a violinist at the Turin Conservatoire and later mentored by composer Ezio Bosso, Umberto went on to complete his master’s at the National Film and Television School (UK).

He has collaborated with acclaimed composer Paolo Buonvino and worked as assistant and additional music writer for Adam Price (Curfew, Paramount+).

His screen credits include the Amazon Studios feature L’estate più calda (The Hottest Summer), the LGBTQ+ drama Maschile Singolare (Mascarpone), and the award-winning shorts Mothergoose and Bubble Boy — the latter a stop-motion musical nominated at the Hollywood Music in Media Awards.
He also co-composed the score for There Was a Home, winner of the Student BAFTA Award for Best Videogame in 2024.

In parallel, Umberto has built a strong profile in the luxury and fashion sector, composing bespoke music for campaigns and runway shows by Dolce & Gabbana, Miss Sohee, and other high-end labels.
His collaborations also extend to agencies such as Youth Mode and Glance Cosmetics, the latter leading to the creation of his Arabian-influenced series in collaboration with Abu Dhabi’s creative scene.
